Just got this comment on my ‘feminism’ post and thought I’d throw it to the blogging sphere.
Note: I’m quite champagned-up, so I’m not entirely certain this post/my response/ anything said in the last 3 hours makes sense.

My reply: Dude, if you think I was trying to be sexy and appealing, you need more contact with women.
You see, that was actually a jokey post about how I’ve been (very unsexily) showing half my arse whenever I went out to do something mundane. If I wanted to objectify myself, I’d just post a picture of myself in a g-sring with the caption “do me here”.
What you’re arguing is that when the female body is uncovered, it’s purely for the enjoyment of men. Isn’t that MORE of a contradiction of feminist values?
